My storefront series captures small fragments of New York City that often go unnoticed but anchor the life of each neighborhood. Painted in oil at 12 by 12 inches, these works document places that shape the city’s everyday rhythm. Some storefronts remain unchanged for decades, while others disappear almost overnight as the city evolves. By preserving them in this intimate format, I’m exploring the relationship between architecture, community, and memory and how these modest façades quietly tell the story of a constantly shifting city.
